Advertising Policy

Updated 4 November 2026. Advertising must be easy to recognise and must never buy a favourable finding, ranking or recommendation.

Original source ↗

Current advertising status

The current hosted website does not load an external advertising script. A page, blank area or payment placeholder must not be presented as a live advertisement or sponsorship.

Any future advertising service needs a separate setup and review. The provider, placement, data use and visitor choices must be explained before it is enabled.

Editorial independence

An advertiser or supporter must not control which problems are covered, which sources are accepted, or whether a proposed solution is described as successful. Advertising income must not determine evidence labels or research conclusions.

A commercial relationship that could affect a reader’s interpretation should be disclosed beside the relevant content. Paid material should be labelled clearly as advertising or sponsorship.

Where advertising would be unsuitable

Keep advertisements away from contribution forms, local drafts, privacy notices, payment tasks, sensitive personal reports and emergency or safety instructions. Navigation-only pages and unfinished tools should not be used to create misleading ad inventory.

Editorial content should remain the reason for visiting the page. Do not interrupt access to a report, correction or essential explanation with an advertisement.

Clear placement and honest interactions

An advertisement must not resemble a menu item, map control, download button, form field or editorial recommendation. It must not cover content or make a visitor click it to continue.

IFT must not ask people to click ads as a way to provide support. Repeated clicks, deceptive placements and incentives to click are not acceptable site practices.

Data and visitor choices

Advertising can introduce additional providers and data processing. The privacy and cookie notices must identify the actual service and controls used before that processing begins.

This page does not claim that a consent platform, personalised advertising configuration or publisher approval is already active. Information Required: the proposed provider, account configuration, storage inventory and applicable visitor-choice process.

Report a concern

Email support@indiafortomorrow.com with the page URL, date, device and a short description. Explain if an ad hides text, resembles a control or appears beside sensitive content. Include a screenshot only if it does not expose private information.
